Julia Roddar is an experienced midfielder and model professional, who played a huge part in our promotion from the BWSL2, playing 16 games across all competitions for London City last season after joining the club from Swedish side Hammarby IF.

The tough-tackling midfielder has competed at the highest levels across Europe and the US, including successful spells in the Damallsvenskan and the NWSL – winning both leagues.

She has also earned 13 caps for Sweden, winning an Olympic silver medal at Tokyo 2020 and a bronze at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Julia Roddar is a valuable player at Cobdown Park for her leadership, experience and maturity, but also her aggression from midfield, making a fantastic pivot with Spanish midfielder María Pérez during the end of our league-winning 2024/25 season.
