Rosa Kafaji - 76
23-year-old Rosa Kafaji joined London City ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Swedish number 10, and a talented young forward capable of playing across the attacking line, Kafaji’s arrival aligned with the club’s ambition to compete for the biggest titles at the highest level and continue to develop young talent.
Kafaji began her senior career at AIK, where she broke through as a teenager and established herself as a promising goalscoring talent, making 46 appearances and scoring 19 goals before moving to BK Häcken in 2022.
At Häcken, Kafaji continued her rapid development, becoming one of the standout players in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, helping the club compete at the highest level domestically and in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. During her time at BK Häcken, she recorded 32 goals and 7 assists in 68 appearances across competitions and produced memorable performances against some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including scoring against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
She joined the Arsenal in 2024 and was part of the squad to earn a Champions League medal in 2025. An ankle injury ruled her out of the end of that season, the final and subsequent EURO 2025 with the Swedish national team.
A season-long loan at Brighton and Hove Albion followed, where she featured 26 times across all competitions for the Seagulls and was part of Dario Vidošić’s side’s run to the 2026 Adobe Women’s FA Cup final last season.
