Barclays Women’s Super League
Liverpool
Sunday 11th January
14:30 (GMT)
Brewdog Stadium
London City have travelled to Merseyside for their first test of 2026, as a new chapter for the club begins at the BrewDog Stadium.
It will be Eder Maestre's first match in charge, with his side facing Liverpool at 2:30pm on Sunday.

Maestre knows the challenge ahead and is under no illusions about the task his players face.
"We need to be humble," he said. “When we see the previous matches of Liverpool, we need to understand that they have got less than they have deserved.”
The Head Coach is expecting a physical and tactical battle, one that will demand both quality and character.
"We have to be prepared to compete, to put our skills up against theirs, and to be the best version of ourselves. That means respecting the opponent, but also stepping onto the pitch with a warrior mindset."
It's a mindset Maestre wants to see every week, not just against Liverpool, but throughout the season, as London City look to set the tone for what lies ahead.

Here is your full match preview.
