Teyah Goldie - 5
Teyah Goldie joined London City ahead of the 2024/25 season on loan from Arsenal, with a strong CV including a decade as part of the Gunners’ player pathway, a loan spell in the BWSL2 with Watford, and appearances for England U15’s, U19’s and U23’s.
Calm and composed on the ball, and with a reading of the game that belies her years, the English centre-back made an immediate impression at the CopperJax Stadium and quickly became a mainstay in the LCL backline.
Across 24 appearances, Goldie anchored the defence with maturity and consistency, playing a crucial part in our historic BWSL2 winning season. Her performances earned her the club’s ‘Young Player of the Season’ award, underlining the impact she made in her first campaign in South East London.
In July 2025, Goldie’s loan became a permanent, as the club prepares for its historic first season in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
