Poppy Pattinson joined London City Lionesses in July 2025, signing a three-year contract after departing Brighton & Hove Albion. The English left-back arrived with seven seasons of WSL pedigree, having previously featured for Sunderland, Manchester City, Bristol City, Everton, and Brighton, and earned multiple England youth international caps from U17 through to U23 levels. 

Pattinson brings energy up and down the flank, defensive intelligence, and proven composure in top‑flight football. Head Coach Jocelyn Prêcheur described her as: "Technically sharp, tactically mature, and brings the kind of experience and ambition we’re looking for.” 

Pattinson’s experience and tenacity make her a key addition ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Her arrival strengthens the squad’s depth, ambition, and WSL readiness, exactly the profile this club needs in it’s historic new chapter.
