Kosovare Asllani is a true icon of the women’s game, and the face of the Swedish national team, having played over 200 times for them. She has captained her country in numerous major tournaments and has a two World Cup bronze medals and two Olympic silver medals to her name.

 

Asllani has won the Damallsvenskan twice and the Barclays Women’s Super League, whilst playing for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

 

She is well-renowned for her creativity, vision, skill and knack for producing when it matters most.

 

Asllani made shockwaves across the women’s football world when she signed for London City in summer 2024, announced as part of Michele Kang’s landmark press conference where she illustrated her mighty ambitions for the club.

 

She became club captain and led by example, scoring on her debut at the CopperJax Stadium against Newcastle, and then totalling 15 goal involvements across her first season in London City colours and topping the BWSL2 assist charts as we historically earned promotion to the Women’s Super League.
