London City Lionesses are pleased to announce the signing of Spanish international Lucía Corrales from FC Barcelona on a contract until summer 2029.

The 19-year-old is an exciting and versatile arrival at the CopperJax Stadium, able to operate in all positions on the left flank.
Corrales arrives following a promising loan spell with Sevilla FC in the 2024/25 season, where she made 28 league appearances, contributing three assists from left-back.
One of the first female graduates of Barcelona’s famed academy La Masia, Corrales broke into the first team during the 2022–23 season, making appearances in both the domestic league and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
On the international stage, Corrales helped Spain win the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, finish runners-up at the 2022 UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship and later played a key role in their 2023 UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship victory. Her youth success led to a senior debut against Belgium in March 2025.

Our new number 7 said: “I want to adapt as well and as quickly as possible, get to know all my teammates, and build a good group - and the same with the staff.
“I'm really looking forward to meeting all the players, all my teammates, but especially Jana [Fernández] and María Pérez, since I've shared a locker-room with them before and I'm really excited to be with them again.
“I chose London City because I believe it's a club where a very good project is being developed, and I'm really eager to see how things are done here and to get started."
At just 19 years old, Corrales joins London City Lionesses at an important stage in her career. The move demonstrates the Club’s ongoing commitment to investing in young, international talent and building a squad that can continue to compete at the highest levels of the women’s game.

Lucía is a London City Lioness, now it's your turn.
All in. All season.
