James Gibson’s side booked their place in round three with wins over Dulwich Hamlet and Real Bedford and have serious aspirations to upset the applecart on their visit to Dartford.

Maddie Biggs and Soraya Walsh, who joined the Blues on loan from West Ham United earlier this season, provided the goals to defeat Dulwich Hamlet in the second round, with Biggs netting in injury time to ensure progression.

Billericay’s form in the Women’s National League Southern Premier Division, which sits one level below the Barclays Women’s Championship, has been mixed this term.

The Essex-based outfit sit eighth in the standings after gameweek ten, suffering late heartbreak in their last fixture, an action-packed draw on home soil versus Ipswich Town.

Billericay held a slender advantage at the start of extra-time, but were left stunned when Natasha Thomas scored in the 99th minute to tie the contest 2-2 and secure the travelling side a dramatic point at New Lodge.

The Blues therefore have a double dose of motivation to overcome Carolina Morace’s squad – bounce back from the disappointment of allowing a late lead to slip away and extend their knockout journey to the fourth round.

Guyana international striker Otesha Charles is one of many visiting players to watch this afternoon, with the 30-year-old renowned for her ability to open space for her teammates in the final third.

West Ham loanee Walsh is another potential game-breaking talent for Billericay. The 2006-born is a creative midfielder and has shown flashes of brilliance in her first season at the senior level.

In defence, Olivia Smith is known for her ability to disrupt attacks and play a simple game in possession. The 23-year-old has been a key player for Gibson since joining the Blues from Ipswich this summer and will be keen to prove her qualities against professional opposition.

Join us at Princes Park for a thrilling afternoon of affordable football on Sunday [10 November], with kick-off set for 1pm.
