London City Lionesses loanee Maddi Wilide is excited about the squad's return to Princes Park on Sunday [31 March].
The Pride host Sheffield United in the Barclays Women's Championship at 2pm, with both sides currently riding three-game win streaks.
Speaking after training on Saturday [30 March], Wilde lifted the lid on the mood in the camp, working with Remi Allen, and more.
How do you feel heading into the game against Sheffield United?
I feel good, the team is confident and we're ready for the challenge. We just need to keep pushing our way up the league and tomorrow's game is an opportunity to play against a side only a few points ahead of us. It should be a good game.
How has training been this week?
It's been good, I've been working in a slightly different role but the girls have been helping me, the communication has been great, and we're all looking forward to the match tomorrow.
Plenty has changed under Remi Allen, how have you found it?
It's been really positive. It's been really intense, which is what we've all needed. She's a really good coach and I've really enjoyed working with her so far.
With three wins in a row, how important is it to finish this block of fixtures on a high?
Definitely, we need to keep this momentum going and that's the standard we're working to now. There's no reason for us to drop those standards and we're looking forward to getting out there on Sunday.
