Sunday’s clash will be the third meeting between the sides this season, with London City and Watford sharing the spoils from their previous encounters.

The Pride opened the season series with a win, overcoming Damon Lathrope’s squad 3-2 at Princes Park on Sunday, 3 September.

Watford bounced back in the Continental Tyres League Cup with a penalty shootout win on the same pitch on Wednesday, 12 October.

Carly Johns has been on fire since joining Watford from Oxford United in the summer, with five goals in eleven league appearances.

Joining the 22-year-old in attack is Arsenal dual-signee Michelle Agyemang, who netted against Southampton Women in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last weekend.

The 17-year-old is known for her ability to create space in the final third and finish opportunities around the six-yard box.

Also of note: former London City captain Harley Bennett who remains one of the best defenders in the league.

The Pride return to Princes Park on Sunday 12 January, hosting Moneyfields in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
