London City Lionesses travel north to Grosvenor Vale on Sunday [17 December], visiting Watford in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Wealdstone Football Club will provide the backdrop for our tussle with the Hornets, starting at 2pm.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
Sunday’s clash will be the third meeting between the sides this season, with London City and Watford sharing the spoils from their previous encounters.
The Pride opened the season series with a win, overcoming Damon Lathrope’s squad 3-2 at Princes Park on Sunday, 3 September.
Watford bounced back in the Continental Tyres League Cup with a penalty shootout win on the same pitch on Wednesday, 12 October.
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Carly Johns has been on fire since joining Watford from Oxford United in the summer, with five goals in eleven league appearances.
Joining the 22-year-old in attack is Arsenal dual-signee Michelle Agyemang, who netted against Southampton Women in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last weekend.
The 17-year-old is known for her ability to create space in the final third and finish opportunities around the six-yard box.
Also of note: former London City captain Harley Bennett who remains one of the best defenders in the league.
NEXT HOME GAME:
The Pride return to Princes Park on Sunday 12 January, hosting Moneyfields in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
