Hayley Nolan signs new contract to remain at Princes Park for the 2022/23 season

Hayley Nolan has committed herself to the Pride once again, signing a new deal to keep her at the club ahead of the new season.

Joining the Lionesses back in 2020, Nolan quickly established herself as an important figure in the sides backline.

Unfortunately, her start to last season was impacted by injury, yet upon her return in the new year she slotted back into the team, racking up 12 appearances in all competitions and forming a strong partnership with fellow centre-back, Harley Bennett.

Speaking on her contract, Nolan said:

“I am really excited to continue my journey here at LCL. It’s a club that continuously strives for the highest of standards while helping players to always push for their 1% gains.

“I have to echo my quote from last year and say that this is one of the most passionate and determined teams in the league - an environment I love being a part of and I’m grateful to be able to contribute to what I hope will be a very successful season ahead.”

Head Coach, Melissa Phillips said of Nolan:

"Hayley has developed into an integral part of our squad. We are excited to see her impact the team even further in the year ahead as her past season was limited due to injury.
