England Youth International Atlanta Primus Joins London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses are thrilled to announce our fifth new signing of the season with forward Atlanta Primus joining the pride.

Atlanta a former England youth international at U15, U17 and U19 level, comes to London from California State University, Fullerton in the United States where she was named in the Big West Regional team, was the

programme all-time assist leader in 2019 as well as being team captain and MVP.

“I’m very excited and thankful for this new opportunity. With my U.S college career complete I’m looking forward to growing and developing here at this ambitious club. I’m excited for this season and helping the team push towards our goals,” said Atlanta.

Prior to her time stateside, the London-born daughter of former professional Linvoy Primus, Atlanta was with Chelsea WFC.


Speaking about her latest acquisition, London City Lionesses Head Coach Lisa Fallon said, "Atlanta is a powerful, creative forward player and brings a different dimension to our attacking options. She's been in with us for a few weeks now and has settled superbly in the group. 

"She's a dynamic player and is a really exciting addition to our squad. Atlanta absolutely loves the game and comes from a great football family. We know there is a big future ahead of her and we're looking forward to seeing her shine."

Atlanta and the rest of the London City Lionesses squad are in final preparation for the start of The FA Women’s Championship season and will take on Sheffield United this Sunday at Princes Park. KO is at 2pm but unfortunately behind closed doors. However fans will be able to watch the whole game on The FA Player on Monday from 12noon.
