December International Break: Who’s playing and where?

There is plenty of action for London City Lionesses fans to look forward to during the third international break of the season, with seven players selected by their respective national teams.


Here’s the lowdown on what to expect across the next week.

New Zealand: Paige Satchell and Grace Neville


Paige Satchell and Grace Neville retained their places in the Football Ferns’ squad and will take part in New Zealand’s trip to Colombia.


London City’s Kiwi duo have been in fine form for the Pride this season, with Satchell netting her first goal in blue versus Lewes and Neville locking down her role at right-back.

Ruesha Littlejohn returns for the Republic of Ireland after spending a stint on the sidelines recovering from an injury.


Grace Moloney remains an integral part of the Girls in Green’s roster and has become part of the furniture in recent years.


With Ireland’s Nations League promotion already secured, rotation could be on the cards this week.

Jamaica: Izzy Groves


Izzy Groves’ fine form in the Barclays Women’s Championship caught the attention of national team scouts and was rewarded with a debut start for Jamaica versus Panama.
