Bringing Your Dog to the CopperJax Community Stadium

At London City Lionesses, we love seeing our four-legged fans at the CopperJax Community Stadium. If your matchday isn’t complete without your dog by your side, here’s everything you need to know.

Where can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome in the standing terraces only, (West Terrace, East Terrace and North Stand standing). This gives you and your dog more space to settle while helping keep walkways clear for other London City Lionesses Supporters.

Your dog must stay with you and under control throughout your visit.

Is matchday right for my dog?

The CopperJax can be busy and an exciting place, with singing, cheering, music, crowds and plenty of movement.

Before bringing your dog, think about whether they’re comfortable with:

  • Busy crowds and confined spaces

  • Loud or sudden noises

  • Lots of unfamiliar people

  • Other dogs

If your dog is nervous, reactive or easily overwhelmed, we’d recommend leaving them at home. Their welfare always comes first.

Be a responsible London City dog owner

Please:

  • Give your dog a good walk before kick-off

  • Bring water and waste bags

  • Keep them close and under control

  • Give other fans and dogs plenty of space

  • Never leave your dog unattended

  • Watch for signs of stress and move somewhere quieter or leave if needed

And if you spot an assistance dog, please give them space – they're working and need to stay focused.

What if my dog isn’t behaving?

If your dog becomes distressed, aggressive, causes an obstruction or creates a safety concern, our stewards may ask you to move to another area or leave the stadium. Please support our team and put your dog’s welfare first.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Copperjax Community Stadium and are not subject to the same restrictions as pet dogs. If you need help planning your visit, our team is happy to help.

Four questions before you join us

  • Can my dog cope with the stadium atmosphere?

  • Can I keep them safely under control?

  • Can they settle without getting in the way of other fans?

  • Will they be comfortable around people and other dogs?

If the answer is yes, we can't wait to welcome you both to the CopperJax Community Stadium!

See you at the CopperJax – and don’t forget the treats!
