In February 2026, the 22-year-old Dane arrived at London City Lionesses from Liga F club Madrid CFF. 

Marcetto come with the experience of playing across many top European women's competitions. She started out at Brøndby IF in Denmark's A-Liga after progressing through the club’s academy. She made 51 senior appearances between 2020 and 2023, scoring nine goals in the 2021-2022 season to help her team finish third in the league. 

The Denmark U23 international then moved to Dijon FCO in France's D1 Féminine where she established herself as a regular before transferring to Madrid CFF in the summer of 2024. 

In Liga F, Marcetto made 40 league appearances for the Madrid outfit, contributing five goals and seven assists and was a consistent performer.   

Internationally, Marcetto has represented Denmark at U16, U17, U19 and U23 age groups with notable involvement in European Championship qualifying campaigns.  She featured in nine matches, netting four goals as Denmark attempted qualification for the UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship while in 2021–2022, Marcetto progressed to the U19 team, accumulating 11 caps and four goals, with notable involvement in the qualifiers for the 2022 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship.
