Injury Update: Malou Marcetto

London City Lionesses can confirm that Malou Marcetto suffered a medial collateral ligament (MCL) and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in our final Barclays Women’s Super League match of the 2025/26 season against Aston Villa on Saturday.  

The London City midfielder was substituted in the second half at the CopperJax Community Stadium and imaging confirmed the extent of the injury.

Marcetto saw a specialist on Monday. She will undergo a period of rehabilitation before surgery.

Everyone at London City will be supporting Malou closely throughout the journey ahead.
