London City Lionesses’ trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup has been selected for broadcast.
The Lionesses will travel to the Beyer Group Stadium for a midday kick off on Sunday 29 January, with live coverage on the BBC iPlayer and FA Player.
London City eliminated Portsmouth in the third round, with captain Harley Bennett scoring the match-winning goal.
Spurs, as a club from the Barclays Women’s Super League, enter the competition in round four.
When asked about the prospect of playing top-flight opposition in the next round, forward Rianna Jarrett said: “We love playing against teams from the Women’s Super League and you can see that from our work in the Conti Cup this season.”
