London City Lionesses are pleased to announce that defender Sokhara Goodall has signed for the club, ahead of this weekend's London derby against Charlton Athletic.
The centre-back joins the Lionesses, following time with the London Bee’s, and previously Crawley Wasps and Moneyfields Women.
Speaking on her move to the club, Goodall said:
“I’m really excited to be joining London City.
“The club has great ambition and is driven to build on last season's achievements.
“It’s an environment that allows you to become the best player you can be and I’m grateful to be a part of it.”
When asked her thoughts on on the addition of Goodall, Head Coach, Melissa Phillips said:
“Sokhara has been a fantastic addition to our squad.
“Training with us throughout pre-season, her energy and passion for the game is infectious within our team.
“She has so many experiences to draw from throughout her career that add value and perspective to our group.
“We look forward to working with Sox in the year ahead and the contributions she will make both on and off the pitch.”
