Sister Club Festival Brings Local Players Together

On Thursday 30th October, we were thrilled to open our training ground to more than 50 young players for our Sister Club Festival - a brilliant day celebrating football, teamwork, and community.

The event kicked off with a proper Lionesses warm-up, led by our own LCL coaches, before players got stuck into a mix of competitive matches and fun team challenges. There was plenty of energy, skill, and laughter on show throughout the day.

We were also joined by first-team players Emily Orman and Elena Linari, who spent time chatting with the girls, sharing advice, and cheering them on from the sidelines. Emily and Elena helped round off the day by handing out certificates, prizes, and medals to every participant - with a few extra for our finalists.

There was even a special guest appearance from Head Coach Jocelyn Prêcheur, who stopped by to catch the action during the final game!

The teams taking part were:

  • Lewisham Tigers

  • Cray Wanderers

  • Faversham Strike Force

  • Old Wilsonians

  • LCL Representative Team

*Please note: The LCL Representative Team was a specially selected group for this event and not our official academy team.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the festival such a success. It was amazing to see so much local talent on display and to spend the day connecting with our Sister Clubs. We can’t wait to do it all again soon!
