As the Lionesses roll into the month of December, head coach, Melissa Phillips was recognized as the FA Barclay's Women's Championship November Manager of the Month.
During the fourth month of the league season, Phillips has guided London City to two league wins, including a memorable result in front of a record number of fans away at Sheffield United.
The win over Birmingham City at Princes Park before the international break was the fourth time in the league season that London City netted three or more goals.
The Lionesses have collected four clean sheets in a row away from home, and the performance at Bramall Lane was just another example of the strength, and mentality of a team not looking too far ahead in the calendar.
Earlier on in the season, Phillips eclipsed her 50th match on the sideline for the Lionesses in a Conti Cup fixture against West Ham United.
She continues to build on the success that the club has had in each season since her arrival, with the hope of achieving the ultimate goal of promotion by the end of the season.
