CopperJax Community Stadium, Bromley
Final Day in Bromley
London City Lionesses are back in Bromley this afternoon for the final fixture of our 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign, as Aston Villa make the trip to the CopperJax Community Stadium for a 1pm kick-off.

It is one last WSL test, one final afternoon at home, and another opportunity for Eder Maestre’s side to finish the season with the same attacking confidence shown last time out in BR2.
Last time out at home, we recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory over Leicester City, a result that saw five different London City Lionesses on the scoresheet in front of the home crowd.

Here is your full match preview.
London City Lionesses
London City come into the final day of the season off the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
City thought they’d found a way back into the game when Alanna Kennedy nestled it in from a corner in the dying stages, but it was too little too late.
At home, London City are building momentum after a brilliant attacking display against Leicester City, beating them 5-1.

Team News
Eder had one update in his press conference ahead of today’s game, providing an update on Dutch midfielder Daniëlle van de Donk.
“We think that Daniëlle will be available to be in the squad list for this final game, hopefully she can have a little game time.”
Team news will be confirmed at 12:00pm, one hour before kick-off in Bromley.

Opposition Overview: Aston Villa
Aston Villa arrive in Bromley for their final match of the Barclays Women’s Super League season under Natalia Arroyo, in what is also a significant fixture in the dugout.
There is plenty of mutual respect between the two head coaches, with Maestre and Arroyo having previously worked together at Real Sociedad, where Eder served as part of Natalia’s staff before both later moved into the Barclays Women’s Super League.
That shared history adds an extra layer to today’s contest, with both managers understanding each other’s ideas, standards and tactical approach extremely well.
Villa have shown their quality across the campaign, with Kirsty Hanson a major attacking threat for the visitors. The Scotland international has been one of Villa’s standout performers in front of goal this season, leading their scoring charts in the WSL and second in the league’s top scorers list.
The visitors have also been involved in a number of competitive fixtures during the run-in, but have struggled for form recently, losing their last three games to Chelsea, West Ham and Arsenal.
With this being the final day of the season, London City can expect a strong response from a Villa side determined to end their campaign well.

Last Time We Met
The reverse fixture came at Villa Park earlier this season, when London City produced a memorable 3-1 victory away from home.
Saki Kumagai scored twice, netting her first Barclays Women’s Super League goals, before Isobel Goodwin added another against her former club to secure an excellent win for the London City.
