We're just over two weeks out from our home opener against Newcastle United, how are you feeling?

I'm excited. It's been a long time coming and a long preseason. I think the whole group is excited. We're ready and we really hope that we'll see lots of fans down at Hayes Lane for our first match there.

You featured in our last match at Hayes Lane, a big win over Crystal Palace, are you excited to return to Bromley as a home player?

I'm most looking forward to the pitch, which has been re-laid over the summer because of work from the two clubs and the leagues. Hopefully, it's going to be very nice to play on and we'll start with a win against a difficult opponent.

After a summer of reform, how have you found preseason?

It's been positive. It's been tough because we all have to find our fitness, but it's good to have new players, and a new feeling around the squad. It's enjoyable to have a new manager in with fresh ideas. We're excited to show what we can do in the first game.

Do you feel like the team is starting to gel as a group?

I think everyone's settling in really well. We have lots of different personalities and cultures, but everyone is fitting in and pulling together in the right direction. There's hopefully a lot to look forward to and we're determined to be successful as a group.

London City fans, it's almost time.

Join Jocelyn PrĂȘcheur at Hayes Lane on Sunday, 8 September, as we host Newcastle United in the Barclays Women's Championship.

Tickets are now on sale. Don't miss out.
