London City Lionesses can confirm that Lotta Lindström has joined Birmingham City Women on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Lindström signed for London City in the 2023/24 season, arriving with a fantastic CV from her time in Finland. In the 23/24 season, Lindström scored three goals in as many games in the BWSL2.
She started last season in the same form, breaking behind the Newcastle backline and setting up Kosovare Asllani for her first goal in London City colours. She then suffered an ACL injury which ruled her out of for the rest of our title-winning season last year, but has since returned from injury.
An exciting and direct attacking presence, Lotta Lindström has been an eye-catching figure for London City Lionesses this season, known for her positive intent, sharp movement, and clinical finishing.

Lindström has impressed in her eight appearances for London City in the current campaign, notably scoring against Ipswich Town in the Subway Women's League Cup, with her ability to drive at defenders, find space in dangerous areas, and finish confidently underlining her potential.
Her performances have also earned her a regular spot in the Finland national team alongside London City teammate Sanni Franssi. She has played four games for her country this season, finding the net against Denmark.
Everyone at London City Lionesses wishes Lotta the very best during her time at Birmingham City, and we look forward to seeing her progress in the second half of the season.
