The wait is almost over.

London City Lionesses will welcome newly-promoted Watford F.C. to Princes Park on Sunday [3 September], as Carolina Morace aims to secure her first win in the Barclays Women’s Championship.


Princes Park will set the season for our home opener, with kick-off scheduled for 13:00 on Sunday, 3 September.

For supporters who are unable to make it to the stadium on matchday, the fixture has been selected for live broadcast on the FA Player.

In the last match between these sides, the Pride fell to a narrow defeat at Vicarage Road in March 2022. Chiara Meola scored the only goal of the afternoon, sealing three valuable points for Watford as they battled against relegation.


Princes Park will set the scene for back-to-back contests in the Barclays Women’s Championship, with Reading next in line to visit the Pride.
