London City Lionesses’ sister club Hampstead FC will be hosting trials from this coming Sunday ahead of their respective upcoming 2021 season.
Hampstead FC are currently looking for players for the 2021/22 season, hosting a number of open sessions. The first of which, will be this Sunday July 11.
London City Lionesses’ partnership with Hampstead FC demonstrates the Pride’s genuine interest in grassroots football and the development of players from grassroots all the way to the professional level. The Lionesses support in their sister clubs is grounded on the intention to encourage young players to participate in clubs with a key focus on player development and participation.
Hampstead FC is a football club based in Camden for boys, girls, and ladies. They are an FA Charter Standard Community Status Club with an ethos that encompasses success both on and off the field of play. It is equally important for us that members achieve personal and social goals as well as sporting goals, and some of the club’s greatest successes can be counted in these areas. Hampstead FC are currently looking to recruit new players (boys starting Year 8 to Year 11 in September 2021, and girls starting Year 6 through to Sixth Form) for the 2021/22 season, and we will be hosting a “free to attend” open day on Sunday the 11th of July, for new players to come down and join in. On the day, there will be a number of sessions run by our FA Qualified Coaches and then a game towards the end of the session.
The gates will open at Chase Lodge Playing Fields, NW7 2ED (the former training ground of Tottenham Hotspur) at 10:30am, with the session starting at 11:00am and finishing at 1:00pm. If you are interested, please sign up at hampsteadfc.com, and we will send out further details.
