Lois Heuchan becomes latest London City summer signing

London City Lionesses are pleased to announce that Lois Heuchan has signed for the Pride from Charlton Athletic.

Born in Dumfries, Scotland, Heuchan played two seasons for the Addicks, where she honed her skills at left-back.

Outside of club football, Heuchan has represented Scotland with younger age groups; U15, U17 and U19.

Off the pitch, the Scottish international has been an active member of the local community, being recognised with a PFA community champion award for her work with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust.

When asked her thoughts on joining the team at Princes Park, Heuchan said:

“It’s really exciting to have joined the team and I just can’t wait to get going.

“For me, I’m the kind of player that just wants to help their team out, both in attack and in defence.

“I came to this club to get as much game time as possible and do what I can to help this time be a success.”

Speaking on the latest arrival to the Pride, Head Coach, Melissa Phillips said:

“Lois is a person of tremendous character who we are excited to have on board at London City.

“She is a true defender, but has the technical quality to contribute in a very key position on both sides of the ball.

“Lois is joining our squad at a very exciting time and shares the ambitions of the club and the desire to be challenged both personally and professionally in the year ahead.

“We look forward to getting the best out of Lois in the pursuit ahead.”
