London City Lionesses is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Hermione Cull has signed a new two-year contract with the Club.

The 19-year-old made two senior appearances last term, backstopping her teammates to wins over Birmingham City and Coventry United.

“I’m very excited to be back at London City and ready to push forward with the team,” explained Cull on the first day of preseason at K Sports Cobdown.

The Englishwoman, who arrived at Princes Park last summer, approaches the new campaign with the ambition to lock down a regular place in Carolina Morace’s starting lineup.

“I like how informative [new First Team Assistant Coach Nicola Williams] is and how easy it was to speak with her about what we were doing in the session,” Cull said of the squad’s first session after the summer break.

“We’ll see as the season progresses, but my aim is to earn more game time and become our No. 1 – that has always been my goal.”

Cull was an impressive performer throughout her rookie professional season and finished the campaign on a high by recording a well-earned clean sheet versus Coventry United.

Added First Team Assistant Coach Nicola Williams: "[Hermione] has been in professional football for a number of years at some good set-ups who is determined to win the No. 1 role, which is the kind of competition we want to create."

Hermione has committed to the Pride for another campaign – and now it’s your chance.

London City Lionesses is proud to offer family-friendly and affordable season tickets, with prices starting from just £5.45 per match.
