Gallery: London City Lionesses march to club record win over Coventry United

London City Lionesses wanted to finish the season on a high on Sunday [30 April]. And they did.


The Lionesses produced a dominant performance to defeat Coventry United 9-0 at Princes Park, a result that saw them finish three points beneath the summit in the Barclays Women's Championship.


Jamie-Lee Napier earned the SETL Player of the Match Award for her 17-minute hattrick, with Sarah Ewens also drawing praise for a second-half double.


The Lionesses limited Coventry United to just three shot attempts, with league debutant Hermione Cull forced into a pair of smart stops.
