After picking up six points in our last two Barclays WSL games against Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, scoring seven goals in the process, London City Lionesses are looking to take our recent form into our Subway Women’s League Cup fixture against Ipswich.

Travel Information

To ensure you have an enjoyable visit to the Jobserve Community Stadium, we recommend you plan your journey in advance.

By Train

The closest railway station to the stadium is Colchester, located on North Station Road, just under two miles from the ground.

It is a 45-minute walk to the ground from Colchester train station. When you exit the station, you will arrive at the North Station roundabout. Take the second left (next to the Big Yellow Storage Building) onto Mile End Road. Continue straight; after about 15 minutes you’ll pass the Dog and Pheasant pub on your left (the nearest pub to the ground). At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Boxted Road. Walk for another 10 minutes until you reach a right turn called United Way, from where you will see the stadium.

A little further away is Colchester Town Station, located closer to the town centre, while Colchester Station is on the north side. There are regular trains between the two Colchester stations, with a journey time of seven minutes.

By Car

From the North and M11

Leave the A14 and join the M11. Exit the M11 at J8 (Stansted Airport/A120) and follow the A120 towards Braintree & Colchester. The A120 merges with the A12. After passing the stadium on your right, leave the A12 at Junction 28. At the first roundabout, turn left, then at the second roundabout turn right into United Way.

From the South

Leave the A12 at Junction 28. Turn right at the first roundabout, cross the bridge, then go straight over the second roundabout before turning right into United Way at the third roundabout.
