FA confirms key dates for 2023-24 Barclays Women's Championship season

London City Lionesses will return to action in the Barclays Women’s Championship on the final weekend of August, the Football Association confirmed last month.

The FA has announced its key dates for the 2023-24 season, with the second division scheduled to open on 26-27 August 2023 and conclude on 27-28 April 2024.

The Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final will be held on 11-12 May 2024, with the Continental Tyres Cup Final set to be contested on 30-31 March.

The Lionesses are excited to start the season, as we target promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

First Group Stage Match: 20 July 2023

Last Group Stage Match: 3 August 2023

Final: 20 August 2023

Barclays Women’s Championship:

First Weekend: 26-27 August 2023

Final Weekend: 27-28 April 2024

Barclays Women’s Super League:

First Weekend: 29-30 September 2023

Final Weekend: 18-19 May 2024

FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup:

Final: 30-31 March 2024

Vitality Women’s FA Cup:

Final: 11-12 May 2024
