Drinking in View of the Pitch Confirmed for 2026/2027 Season

London City Lionesses are delighted to confirm that following a successful trial, supporters will be able to enjoy a drink in the stands at all of our home fixtures at the CopperJax Community Stadium.
The WSL piloted the scheme during the second half of the 2024/25 season and expanded it for 2025/26 across 20 clubs, 29 venues and 190 fixtures.
The decision has been made (with shareholder approval) to remove the ruling in the League Competition Regulations relating to the consumption of alcohol in view of the pitch.
As a club rooted in community, we consistently seek ways to enhance the matchday experience for our fans. This reflects our commitment to a fan-first approach, offering choice, flexibility and a progressive step in line with supporter feedback. For each game, there will also be a designated alcohol-free section.
