āThe project that London City have, itās different but in a good way. London City have to
battle for everything and thatās my style.
The Dutch midfielder is excited to play in the WSL again: āI was there for six years, and it
was very good. I loved it and saw no hesitation in coming back.
āItās a good league; the stadiums are full and hopefully we can get more and more fans

āIām so excited to meet all of the fans, and I promise that Iāll give 100%."
Director of Football Ronald Thompson was also delighted to get the deal over the line:
āIāve known DaniĆ«lle as a player for many years; sheās a great technician of the ball and
can make the game tick.
āShe has all of the positives you want from a player of her level.
āOn top of that, she is a great person as well, so she is a great addition to the club."
