Asllani and Jakobsson to Represent Sweden at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025

London City Lionesses are proud to announce that Kosovare Asllani, our team captain, and forward Sofia Jakobsson will be representing Sweden in their UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 match against Denmark on Friday 4th July.

Asllani, a key leader and playmaker for both club and country, will captain Sweden, while Jakobsson, known for her pace and attacking flair, will strengthen their front line. Both players have been crucial to our success this season, and now they’ll take their talents to the international stage.

We’ll be cheering them on and wish them the best of luck in the tournament.
