Isobel Goodwin has stolen all the headlines since her arrival at the CopperJax in summer 2024. A goal machine, Goodwin topped the BWSL2 goalscoring charts with 16 goals and broke into the England U23’s squad last season, netting three times in four games.

Her highlights from last campaign included bagging four goals against Portsmouth and a hat-trick later in the season against Southampton, with her height, athleticism, strength and finishing proving her a handful for defenders to deal with.

Her most memorable moment came on the final day against Birmingham, scoring our goal of the season to give us the final push to winning promotion to the WSL.

Before her move to London City, Goodwin cut her teeth in the Aston Villa academy before moving to Coventry. She then made the switch to Sheffield United, where she scored 15 goals in 19 games.
