Cerys Brown - 22
Cerys Brown joined London City on a season-long loan from Chelsea, but it didn’t take long for Jocelyn Prêcheur wanting a permanent move for the exciting full-back.
The 20-year-old began her career in Chelsea’s academy, making her senior debut for the Blues in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and gaining further experience on loan at Watford.
She has also impressed on the international stage, in the U19 European Championships. The Lionesses reached the semi-finals after being knocked out by eventual winners Spain, and Brown featured in all four games, registering an assist against Lithuania.
She was recognised on the international stage when she was named in the U19’s European Championships ‘Best XI’ – breaking into a team that featured eight finalists – a nod to her great performances across the tournament.
