Guess The Goal Competition T&Cs

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. This competition (the "Competition") is operated by LCL Sports Group Limited, which owns and operates the London City Lionesses (the "Promoter").

  2. The Competition is open to individuals who are 18 years or older and are residents of the United Kingdom.
    Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Promoter and each of their respective affiliates and subsidiaries (the "Released Parties"), as well as any immediate family member of an employee of a Released Party, are not eligible to participate in the Competition or win any prizes under it. The Competition is void where prohibited by law.

  3. To participate in the Competition, entrants must:

    1. Attend the London City Lionesses vs Sunderland match on Sunday, 16th February 2025.

    2. Complete the Goal Minute Competition Form by submitting their predicted minute of the first goal scored in the match.

    3. Submit the form before 1:45 PM on 16th February 2025 (the “Competition Closing Time”).

  4. The Competition opens on the day of the match (16th February 2025) and closes at 1:45 PM before kickoff. Entries submitted after the Competition Closing Time will not be considered. The competition form can be accessed via www.londoncitylionesses.com/guessthegoal

  5. Only one entry per person is permitted. Any attempt to submit multiple entries may result in disqualification. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

  6. The winner will be the entrant who correctly predicts the minute of the first goal scored in the match. If multiple entrants submit the correct minute, the winner will be selected at random from those correct entries.

  7. If no one correctly predicts the exact goal minute, no winner will be selected.

  8. The winner will be notified via the email address provided on the entry form on Monday, 17th February 2025. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

  9. The winner will receive: A signed London City Lionesses home shirt (size subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion.

  10. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it believes has attempted to tamper with the Competition process or is in violation of these Terms & Conditions. The Released Parties are not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries due to technical, electronic, or human errors, including failures in internet service providers, mobile networks, or other systems.

  11. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that their personal data will be processed by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Competition.

  12. Any personal information submitted will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which can be found [here].

  13. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that the Promoter may use their name, city of residence, photograph, voice, or likeness for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

  14. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising out of participation in the Competition, including but not limited to the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, except in the case of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter or where liability cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to modify, suspend, or terminate this Competition for any reason.

  15. If terminated, the Promoter may, at its discretion, select a winner from all eligible non-suspect entries received prior to termination.

  16. The Competition, these Terms & Conditions, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
