Competition T&Cs

This competition (the “Competition”) is operated by LCL Sports Group Limited, which owns and operates the London City Lionesses (the “Promoter”).

The Competition is open to community groups based in the London Borough of Bromley. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of the Promoter and each of their respective affiliates and subsidiaries (the “Released Parties”), as well as any immediate family member of an employee of a Released Party, are not eligible to participate in the Competition or win any prizes under it. The Competition is void where such entry is prohibited by law.

All community groups operating on a non-profit basis with a lead contact, and who are based in the London Borough of Bromley or deliver more than 50% of their work in Bromley, and who are not affiliated with any political party or operating for private profit, are eligible for nomination. Nominations can be made by individuals aged 18 years or older who complete the official nomination form at www.londoncitylionesses.com/Communityvote and www.londoncitylionesses.com/communitycomp before 5pm on Thursday 24 April 2025 (the “Competition Period”).

By completing the nomination form, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules contained herein (the “Official Rules”) and the decisions of the Promoter, which shall be final and binding on all participants in the Competition.

The Promoter will shortlist up to three community groups for the final stage of the Competition, based on the highest number of valid nominations received by the deadline. Each nominator may only nominate one community group. Incomplete, inaccurate or duplicate entries may be deemed void at the sole discretion of the Promoter. A valid nomination is defined as a complete and accurate submission that meets all eligibility criteria listed above.

London City Lionesses (The Promotor) reserves the right to reject any applications from or for organisations or individuals whom London City Lionesses (the Promotor) determines in its sole discretion do not share our commitment to inclusivity, equality, and respect.

Winner Selection At the final home game of the season against Durham on Sunday 27 April 2025, match attendees will vote in person for their preferred community group from the shortlisted finalists. Voting will open at 12:30pm and close at 2:00pm, ahead of kick-off. The community group receiving the most matchday votes shall be declared the winner.

No entry fee is required to participate in the Competition. The winning group will receive a £1,000 contribution to support their ongoing work, subject to terms and conditions which will be shared directly with the winning group. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available.

The winning group will be contacted within five working days of the match to arrange prize fulfilment. To receive the prize, the winning group must provide the Promoter with:

·       Official bank details for an account held in the name of the community group.

·       These details must be submitted from a recognised group-affiliated email address (e.g., not a personal email). Failure to meet these conditions may result in the forfeiture of the prize.

Once a valid nomination is submitted via the online form, nominators will receive a unique booking code and ticket link to their email address. This link will allow them to secure match tickets for the 27 April fixture at Hayes Lane. These tickets will be free as specified on the form and are intended to encourage attendance and support on the day. Tickets are limited and subject to availability.

All entries into the Competition become the property of the Promoter. By submitting the nomination form, you agree that your data will be used to administer the Competition and for other legitimate interest communications, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

If the Promoter determines, at its sole discretion, that a winning group or entrant has breached these Official Rules or attempted to interfere with the fair administration of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify them and select an alternative winner.

The lead contact of the winning group may be required to demonstrate their affiliation with the group before the prize is awarded.

Released Parties are not responsible for, and by entering the Competition entrants shall be deemed to have waived and released the Released Parties from, any claims or complaints arising out of or in connection with late, lost, stolen, incomplete, misdirected, delayed or undelivered entries, or for failures of electronic devices, services or software used in connection with the Competition.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries or void votes it reasonably believes to be the result of automated methods, multiple identities, or other unfair practices.

All personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable laws and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

Where the prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with another prize of comparable or greater value. The Promoter may also, at its discretion, decide not to award the prize if a suitable winner cannot be contacted or verified.

By entering the Competition, all entrants agree that the Released Parties may use, without further compensation or permission, the name, location and any photograph or video content involving the nominated groups for advertising, media, and promotional purposes in connection with this Competition and related activities.

The Released Parties shall have no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising out of participation in this Competition or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Competition at any time, for any reason, and without liability.

This Competition, these Official Rules and the rights and obligations of the entrants shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
