Nicole Douglas

Nicole Douglas joined London City Lionesses from the NWSL's Washington Spirit in January 2024.

The 23-year-old arrived at Princes Park following five seasons playing in the United States, split between professional and collegiate teams.

Douglas was a standout performer for Arizona State University, scoring 60 goals in 89 NCAA appearances to become the Sun Devils' all-time leading scorer and earn national recognition as the Pac-12 Forward of the Year.

The London-born striker's impressive collegiate career saw her selected by Washington with the 26th overall pick in the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Draft.

Douglas spent one season in the United States' top professional division, tallying 16 appearances as the Spirit finished eighth in the regular-season standings.
