When the news came out on 27 June, what was your immediate reaction?

I was really happy that there's progress at our Club and in women's football overall. I was, to be honest, in shock, but in a good way!

I was excited about the future. I like the new coach, [Jocelyn Precheur], and  Kosovare Asllani joining our team. The facilities are getting better too, so it's a really exciting time.

As a Club, we have big ambitions this year. What about you personally as a player?

Getting promoted is our main goal, but we need to work hard throughout the season. Individually, I would like to develop more as a player and as a human being. Of course, I'm a striker, I like to score goals. That's something I would like to do more of this season.

You hit the ground running for us last season. How important is it for you to score your first international goal this season?

Yeah, of course, it definitely is a big goal for me. I would also like to get more playing time and be able to show my skill set. It’s a big personal goal for Finland and I’m hoping for that to come through this year.
