Thank you and good luck: Shen Mengyu departs London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses can confirm that midfielder Shen Mengyu will leave the Club ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The China international joined London City last summer from Celtic and featured 14 times across all competitions in the 2024/25 campaign, scoring once in our FA Women’s National League Cup tie against Gwalia United.

Shen brought dynamism and creativity to our midfield group and was a committed and positive influence around Cobdown Park and Hayes Lane.

Everyone at London City thanks Shen for her efforts and we wish her the very best for the next chapter of her career.
