Nottingham Forest were promoted to the BWSL2 last season after winning the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division unbeaten.

She will also join up with former London City Lioness Georgia Brougham on loan.

The 19-year-old joined us on loan for the second half of the 2024/25 season, before completing a permanent transfer to the club this summer.

During her time at the CopperJax Stadium last year, she impressed Jocelyn Prêcheur, with the London City Lionesses Head Coach stating how delighted he was to sign her this summer:

“I really believe in her and I am grateful that she trusts us. She represents well what we are trying to do at London City.”

This loan move forms a key part of Sophia’s development pathway, giving her the opportunity to play regular senior football and continue building on the foundations laid during her first six months with the club.

Everyone at London City wishes Sophia the very best and will be monitoring her progress closely over the course of the season.
