Paula Partido joins London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old Spanish midfielder Paula Partido from Real Madrid on a three-year contract.

Partido began her senior career with Real Madrid, making first-team appearances including in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages, coming off the bench in a 5-0 win over Breidablik. She showcased her talent on loan at Celtic, recording three goals in 23 appearances in their SWPL1 title winning season. On loan at Sevilla she featured in all 13 Liga F matches during the 2024–25 season, contributing over 380 minutes of consistent midfield play. 

A product of Madrid CFF and Real Madrid’s youth systems, Partido also made her mark in Real Madrid B with 49 appearances and 15 goals. Internationally, she has been capped by Spain at U17 and U20 level. Partido was part of the winning squad at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, beating Columbia 1-0 in the final.
