Last weekend saw the London City Lionesses End of Season Awards ceremony take place at Princes Park.
After another remarkable season for the Lionesses, players and staff gathered to celebrate the achievements of the club in the 2021/22 season.

Supporters Player of the Season: Carly Girasoli
“Carly has been such an impactful addition to our defensive unit. She's the definition of a competitor, tough as nails, reads the game exceptionally well and has the ability to break up big plays with her last ditch efforts and goal line clearances, but is also known to put the ball in the back of the net on a corner or two.” Manager, Melissa Phillips
Players Player of the Season: Shae Yanez
“Shae is a player that, this season, consistently found a way to impact the game in so many big moments. She drives standards every single day and truly leads by example, producing two game winning penalty saves and a penalty scored herself, she’s also helped us to seven clean sheets.” Manager, Melissa Phillips
Supporters Goal of the Season: Amy Rodgers (v Crystal Palace on the 13th of February 2022)
“We may not have a 15 goal a year player, but we do have 15 different goal scorers. Every goal was a team goal with some of the lovely build up play we had throughout, but only one player puts it in the back of the net and Amy is a player who made an impact in every game she played in with her uncanny ability to find the back of the net from distance and eight goals this season.” Manager, Melissa Phillips
The PRIDE Award: Harley Bennett
“This award is meant to honour a player who embodies the values of London City and the 2021-22 Team. Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Discipline & Effort are all taken into account. Harley is someone who you think of as a true London City ambassador. She’s a true competitor, plays with so much passion, and a player you would want on any team.” Manager, Melissa Phillips
