London City Lionesses is thrilled to announce the arrival of versatile wide player Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah on a one-year contract.
The Englishwoman, who arrives at Princes Park from Aston Villa, can play anywhere across the front line and as a full-back.
Boye-Hlorkah has amassed a wealth of experience in the Barclays Women’s Super League, with eight goals in 79 appearances.
“The opportunity to strive with a team and create something special from the start is massive for me,” said the 27-year-old.
"After speaking to the manager and the assistant, the ambition to compete at the highest level really attracted me to the Club. I'm excited about the chance to earn game time and learn.
"I'm quite a versatile player, but I like to play as a forward and be creative. I'm fast and like to shoot, so hopefully I can contribute that to the team this season."
Boye-Hlorkah is the latest player to join London City in the final week of preseason, following midfielder Ruesha Littlejohn and forward Danielle Carter.
First Team Head Coach Carolina Morace added: "Chantelle is a technical player who can play in a number of roles. She likes to play with the ball, which is important and will help us develop our game.
"It's good for the team to have her with us [because] she has the experience that we need and can be role model for the other players."
Boye-Hlorkah is available for selection for the opening weekend of the season.
