Cerys Brown departs for Nottingham Forest

London City Lionesses can confirm that Cerys Brown has joined Nottingham Forest on a permanent transfer.

Cerys Brown joined London City Lionesses on loan from Chelsea ahead of the 2024/25 season and had signed a permanent deal with the club by February 2025, after impressing with her performances and becoming a fans’ favourite around the CopperJax Community Stadium.

Cerys made 21 appearances during her time at London City, with 15 of them coming in our Championship-winning campaign in 2024/25.

The England U23s international joined Forest on loan from us in January, and has played every minute for them since, picking up an assist and contributing to two clean sheets.
