Sophie has had a passion for football since a young age, but found the analytical and strategic tactics teams used more interesting whilst studying at the University of Chichester. During her BA, she was exposed to a Performance Analysis module, which strengthened my interest for analysis further by being the theme of her undergraduate dissertation working with A and B licensed female football coaches.

After finishing university, she wanted to obtain more applied experience which is why she was fortunate enough to study a further year at Chichester University with an MSc in Sport Performance Analysis whilst being a recruitment analyst at Southampton FC.

Once her placement was over, she wanted to develop her technical skillset and knowledge further as an analyst within football so she completed voluntary experience at Woking FC in the National League and is still working with the England Amputee National Team.
