About the Role

We are looking for an individual to maximise players’ physical performance and minimise injury by providing strength and conditioning and physical preparation coaching.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:


  • A BSc in Sports Science or a related field;

  • Hold either a UK Strength and Conditioning accreditation (UKSCA) Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach qualification (ASCC), or the US National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach qualification (CSCS);

  • Have adequate professional liability insurance to work /advise WSL and WC players;

  • Hold the Football Association level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification;

  • Be a UKAD Clean Sport Advisor;

  • High level of knowledge of women and girls athletic populations to meet the demands of elite football;

  • Highly experienced in the planning and delivering of gym-based and pitch-based football programs;

  • Valid and accepted enhanced FA DBS or be willing to undertake this check if successful;

  • Ability to work in a fully integrated medical and performance department, to be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all LCL athletes;

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information regarding injured players;

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information within football departments, upholding the highest levels of professionalism at all times.

About the Company

London City Lionesses is the capital's only professional and independent women's football club.

Competing in the Barclays Women's Championship, London City recently received a Tier 1 Professional Game Academy License from the Football Association, allowing the Club to launch elite-level player pathway provision in Kent.

London City's day-to-day operations are based at K Sports Cobdown, with home fixtures played at Princes Park Stadium.
