Melissa has always had a tremendous passion for football and for helping people. She started coaching at the age of 18 while still playing and knew it was the direction her career was headed. Becoming the youngest head coach of a NCAA Division 1 program at CSU Bakersfield, to then an assistant coach at University of San Fransisco, and then an assistant coach at University of Pennsylvania. She has been fortunate to have incredible mentors along the way that have paved a path for women in coaching."

She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be working with the London City Lionesses. The vision, values and culture of the club are very compelling. She looks forward to supporting the club and the lionesses squad.
