About us:

 

London City Lionesses, founded in June 2019, is a fully professional women's football club, based at Princes Park Stadium, Dartford.The team currently competes in the FA Women's Championship, the second tier of domestic women’s football in England, with ambitions and a plan to gain promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. It is the first independent fully professional women’s club in London. Our vision is to lead the commercial and social development of women’s football, creating a dynamic global identity in order to better serve girls and women both on and off the pitch. We will be leaders of change in women’s football and align our goals with football’s stakeholders including the FA, UEFA and FIFA. Our values are respect, pride, integrity and teamwork.

VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR & EDITOR

 

 


London City Lionesses is offering an exciting opportunity for a Video Content Creator & Editor to join our Marketing & Communications Team and help tell the story of our club through sight and sound. 

 

The role:

As Video Content Creator & Editor you will: 

  • work closely with colleagues across the club in communications, commercial, marketing and PR roles to help implement the visual identity and communication of London City Lionesses

  • design, curate and create exciting, dynamic and engaging video and animations content for use in social media,  on the website and digital marketing such as newsletters

  • capture, manipulate, edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished product, inputting music, dialogue, graphics and effects

MATCH DAY ANNOUNCER

London City Lionesses is looking for a Match Day Announcer who will provide informative and colourful commentary to help entertain our fans on match day. With the league beginning behind closed doors we are particularly interested to hear from those who are keen to develop their commentary skills to support any live match streaming that the club may do.

 

The role:

As Match Day Announcer, you will:

  • be responsible for making appropriate announcements on match day (welcoming fans to Princes Park, details of kick off, team line ups, referees and officials, thanking sponsors, detailing next matches and how tickets may be purchased, encouraging social media posts and directing fans to our website)

  • announce game play action in real time e.g. goals, substitutions and provide colourful and entertaining commentary for pre-match, half time and post-match

  • be responsible for the provision of lively, contemporary and appropriate music on match day

  • read scripted coverage when required

  • interview coaches, players or industry experts to provide insights into the game

  • research statistics to provide accurate match day data

  • good technical knowledge of football and a passion for public speaking/ presenting

MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE OFFICER

London City Lionesses is looking for a Match Day Experience Officer to help give our fans a day to remember on match day. With the league beginning behind closed doors we are looking for someone who is creative and innovative in approach who can help us to maximise our virtual match day experience. 

The role:

As Match Day Experience Officer, you will:

  • come up with and execute creative and original ideas for enhancing the fan experience on match day

  • ensure that pre-game information is clear and accessible to fans

  • assist in ensuring that stadium facilities are in excellent condition and in ensuring the safety and comfort of spectators

  • assist in the retail of club merchandise and refreshments on match day

  • organise and ensure the smooth running of entertainment for pre/ post-game or half time

  • host VIP and sponsor attendees on match day

  • be aware of the stadium’s emergency procedures and help to identify and investigate any incidents involving spectators

PARTNERSHIPS OFFICER

London City Lionesses is looking for a Partnerships Officer to assist in developing existing relationships with sponsors and partners, along with identifying new opportunities for community and commercial partnerships and revenue generation. 

 

The role:

As Partnerships Officer, you will:

  • develop your understanding of London City Lionesses’ history, values and mission and identify likeminded potential partners and mutually beneficial opportunities

  • research, analyse and maintain accurate records for potential fundraising opportunities in a range of identified markets ensuring any fundraising undertaken is in line with current policies 

  • under the direction of the Marketing & Commercial Lead, ensure that the rights and benefits attributed to partners and sponsors are delivered in line with their contracts

  • work closely with colleagues in our communications, commercial, marketing and PR teams to help execute the club’s marketing and commercial strategy, identify and implement opportunities for partners to activate their relationship with the club 

  • nurture and develop relationships with key contacts in the club’s existing partners 

  • maintain the database of sponsors, stakeholders and general contacts in order to keep accurate records of progress that are available for others to access at all times

COMMS & MARKETING OFFICER

London City Lionesses is looking for a Comms & Marketing Officer to help plan and contribute to the club’s match day media, campaigns and marketing activities. 

The role:
As Comms & Marketing Officer, you will:

  • work closely with communications, commercial, marketing and PR colleagues to help execute the club’s marketing and commercial strategy

  • assist with coordinating, managing and filming press conferences, player appearances and club events, as well as notable news stories, such as new signings, fan engagement events etc

  • manage match day media operations and activity including accreditations, liaising with journalists and arranging player and coach interviews

  • manage the match day photographers including any specific club photography requirements 

  • support the Commercial and Marketing Lead in managing London City Lionesses’ commercial and marketing prospects and identifying opportunities for income generation

  • help to identify, organise and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness and aid in planning advertising and promotional campaigns for partnerships

  • prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee its distribution
